Does AI Spark "Technojoy"?

(With apologies to Ms. Kondo) Does AI Spark Technojoy? Neal Riley, Innovation Lead, the Adaptavist Group, a digital transformation consultancy, joined me to discuss their new report, ‘The human cost of digital transformation,’ based on a a survey of 4,000 knowledge workers from the UK, US, Canada, and Germany. The report surfaced a number of fascinating/unsettling insights: while almost three-quarters believe technology has helped advance their careers, over a quarter regularly experience “digital overwhelm,” and nearly half (43%) suffer stress and anxiety from notification overload and platform juggling. We discussed the implications of these findings, what technostress “looks like,” and how to remove the stressors on the road to “technojoy.” Check it out.
